The #TypzPlnsz app is the core component of the campaign and provides access to augmented reality, a moving visual expansion of posters experienced through smartphones and tablets. The app presents short portraits of outstanding Polish-German and Polish personalities and expert statements on aspects of Polish and German culture and society, which expand on the poster content. Short didactic questions are also part of the app and provide an accessible introduction to this complex topic.

The posters will be displayed in central locations across Berlin from 12th October to 4th November 2018, reaching a wide audience. Parallel to the poster campaign and app, the campaign will run on social media channels like Instagram, Facebook and Twitter under the hashtag #TypszPlnsz. We strongly encourage participation in the campaign. Participants can use the hashtag #TypszPlnsz to post content, such as photos of posters, drawings, videos or statements they consider to be »typically Polish« and »typically German«. Participants in the campaign can win prizes, and selected entries will be published in the app.

A separate booklet completes the campaign. It will be presented on 19th and 21th October 2018 at the Friends with Books fair at Hamburger Bahnhof (Berlin).
